Ashgrove School

Ashgrove school is based in Rangiora, North Canterbury and my son attends the school.

As a gesture of support to the school I have redeveloped their website within the Umbraco Content Management System and currently sponsor the website hosting.

Converting the site into Umbraco has meant that it is a much simpler task for staff to maintain content on the site and will provide an excellent base for providing more online information and services in the future, e.g. Neewsletters to parents via email.

Being focussed on digital photography they have proven that location is no barrier to membership - competitions and member galleries are all based within the website and therefore accessible from anywhere in the world.

A project where whanau (family) are helping out whanau. I build a website for my sister, I get paid in wine - a win win situation I believe.

Ang specialises in working alongside businesses in the Marlborough region to assist with their business direction and focus.

Ang has an honest and direct approach and believes that integrity is a key ingredient to her success.

This is a brochure site for Napier Counselling and provides information on the services available and also features a regular column containing thought provoking information on a specific subject.

Fran, the owner, is also an accomplished artist and features her work on the site.

Of particular importance was the generation of Search Engine referrals, something that has been successfully accomplished.

The Collection Company is based in Christchurch, New Zealand and assists businesses nationally and worldwide to recover outstanding debts.

They are one of the largest debt collection agency's in Christchurch and have been working with government departments, councils, accountancy and legal entities, corporates and other businesses since 1989.

Maths Game

This is a simple Maths game that I created for a bit of fun and to also provide a learning tool for our young son.

Making it publicly available I was also interested in seeing just how far and wide the use of it might spread through search engine referrals.

The game was created using jQuery and image sprites. An image sprite is a modern technique used to help improve the performance of a website whereby a number of graphical elements are combined.
